GALICIAN AND PORTUGUESE CHRISTMAS EVENT

The Centre for Galician Studies and the Centre for Portuguese Studies are organising a Christmas Event for all of their language and culture students. This activity will give students the perfect opportunity to celebrate at this time of year the bonds that connect our two cultures.

Our students are always learning about the links between Galicia and Portugal, and Christmas traditions are not an exception. This event will bring both groups together to celebrate this special time of the year. During this activity we will also sing two traditional Christmas Songs or “panxoliñas”, one in Galician and one in Portuguese, try some traditional food and take part in a workshop.
